Without Words

A while ago I shared an animation short on Instagram that I had used with my class and I promised I would share the others that I use. Below are four animations that my class absolutely adore and ask to watch over and over again.

I use them to develop so many important Literacy skills; communication and language, prediction, inference, vocabulary, story structure, and narration. But also as a vehicle to talk about feelings, emotions, social constructs, and bias.

I have used them when I have a spare 15 minutes, during fruit time, and as a hook for a whole unit of work. These animations can definitely be used school-wide and can be successfully used as a whole-school stimulus.

Click on the picture to view the animation (please let me know if any of the links break as they sometimes do over time).
